Our Mission
The Jai Lao Foundation (Jai Lao) was founded in April 2009 on the principles of charity, compassion and love for the deserving children in Laos. In a world where poverty forces children to be adults, Jai Lao was created to alleviate hardships for children in the remote villages of Laos. Jai Lao passionately strives to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged children in Laos by building new schools so children may have access to free education. In addition, Jai Lao endeavors to support higher education for the children of Lao refugees living in the UnitedSates through the provisions of need and merit based scholarships.
Who We Are
Jai Lao is simply a small organization of devoted volunteers with hearts that beat as one to serve and help our Lao brothers and sisters. We believe in giving back to our community at large while embracing our Lao culture. Jai Lao hopes to encourage and inspire others to come together as one Lao Community, collaborating to enhance and improve the act of caring and giving together.
How We Help
The act of charity and giving starts in our hearts. True giving

How We Raise Money
Jai Lao is thankful for our supportive and generous donors everywhere
who believe in and trust Jai Lao's mission. However, the largest contribution to
our Foundation comes from our volunteers' relentless efforts in various
fund raising events, sales from our Jai Lao Apparel & Padek and of course our most successful event, Jai Lao's annual One Night in Laos charity dinner and auction held every June.
