Humanitarian Trips

Jai Lao organizes and completes at least one humanitarian service mission trip out of the personal expenses of Board Members who voluntarily travel every year to provide service projects and donation goods in the schools and villages we help.

Our humanitarian missions include but not limited to the following:

  • Overseeing the construction of building our schools from the initial contact with the village chief to the opening baci ceremonies of our schools
  • Renovating dilapidated schools making it more safe and conducive for learning and growing
  • Managing clean water well projects in the villages
  • Furnishing all of the schools we build or renovate with desk, chairs, chalkboards, uniforms, sports equipment, books, and educational materials
  • Supplementing basic educational and safety needs of Lao students in developing rural villages
  • Providing clean water filters to all families in the villages we build our schools
  • Installing bathrooms and running water in target schools
  • Providing ceiling fans to classrooms
  • Donating blankets, basic household toiletries and personal hygiene/dental kits to remote villages
  • Donating supplies and or funds or food to disable centers and orphanages in need
  • Cooking and feeding nutritious warm meals for various villages
