Pa Toop Village

Pa Toop in Luang Prabang is a rural mountain village located in Meuang Ngoi District in northern Laos. Pa Toop is Jai Lao’s newest and largest completed school project with six fully furnished classrooms and four toilet rooms. It was completed and turned over in October 2015 and a total project cost of $26,000 of which $3,000 was desk, chairs and chalkboard. The wonderful design was donated by a talented architect in Vientiane. Pa Toop is four hours from the city of Luang Prabang tucked away deep in the mountains and is home to 65 Khmu ethnic Lao families with a total of 377 household members and a total of 130 students from preschool to 5th grade.
